Bandung, September 18, 2025 - Students of the Arabic Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Language and Literature Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), implemented the Educational Profession Strengthening Program (P3K) at SD Labschool Percontohan UPI. This activity aims to strengthen students’ professional competencies as prospective educators through direct practical experience in an elementary school environment.
The handover of P3K student participants was carried out on Thursday (September 18) and marked by the signing of the Implementation Agreement and the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia and SD Labschool Percontohan UPI as the partner school.
During the P3K implementation, students were involved in various activities, including classroom observation, teaching assistance, lesson plan development, and participation in academic and non-academic school activities. These activities provided a comprehensive understanding of student characteristics, classroom management, and the application of contextual and student-centered learning strategies.
The P3K program serves as an important platform for students to enhance their professional readiness as future teachers. Through direct interaction with the school community, students gain authentic experiences in developing pedagogical, social, and professional competencies, while also fostering responsibility and professional ethics in education.
The implementation of P3K at SD Labschool Percontohan UPI reflects strong synergy between higher education institutions and partner schools in supporting educational quality improvement. This program is expected to contribute to the development of competent, adaptive, and well-prepared future educators who are ready to face the challenges of the education sector.
