Bandung, February 12, 2026 - The Faculty of Language and Literature Education (FPBS) at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) held a socialization event on Maslahat Tambahan Berdampak (MTB/Additional Impactful Benefits), Performance Contracts, and Employee Performance Targets (SKP) for lecturers and educational staff within FPBS. This event was part of ongoing efforts to strengthen performance-based, accountable, and transparent human resource governance, held on Wednesday, February 12, 2026.

The event was opened by Rohman, S.A.P., Head of the General Administration and Resources Section of FPBS, who emphasized the importance of a shared understanding of the university’s performance evaluation policies and systems. Remarks were then delivered by the Dean of FPBS, Prof. Wawan Gunawan, M.Ed., Ph.D., who underscored that the implementation of MTB, performance contracts, and SKP represents a strategic step toward enhancing professionalism and fostering an impact-oriented work culture.

The event featured a keynote presentation by Prof. Dr. Tri Indri Hardini, M.Pd., Vice Rector for Resources and Information Systems at UPI, who elaborated on the concept and implementation of Maslahat Tambahan Berdampak (MTB) as part of a remuneration and recognition system based on tangible contributions. She explained that MTB is designed to encourage productive, measurable performance that directly contributes to the realization of the university’s vision.

The subsequent session was delivered by Panji Nurul Fath, S.T., M.M., Head of UPI’s Human Resources Bureau, who outlined the mechanisms and substance of performance contracts, including achievement indicators and periodic evaluations. The discussion on Employee Performance Targets (SKP) was presented by Setiawan, S.T., Head of the Evaluation, Remuneration, and Welfare Division, who highlighted the importance of formulating SKP targets that are aligned with work unit goals and the university’s strategic plan.

The event continued with an active and interactive Q&A session, reflecting the enthusiasm of lecturers and educational staff in understanding the policies and their technical implementation at the faculty level. The event concluded with a collective reaffirmation of commitment to implementing the performance system professionally, followed by a group photo session.

This socialization is in line with UPI’s commitment to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) through the enhancement of human resource quality, and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) through transparent, accountable, and performance-based governance. By strengthening the MTB, performance contract, and SKP systems, FPBS UPI continues to build a professional work culture that delivers meaningful impact for the institution’s advancement.
