Bandung, 5 May 2026 - Through its Japanese Language Education Study Program, the Faculty of Language and Literature Education (FPBS), Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, signed a cooperation agreement with PT Wiyata Global Indonesia and Sekiya Resort, Japan, to support the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) internship program for students.
This partnership is a strategic step toward strengthening the internationalization of education while opening up learning and professional opportunities for students within an international industry environment. Through the internship program, students of the Japanese Language Education Study Program are expected to gain professional experience, improve their Japanese language proficiency, understand international workplace culture, and strengthen their communication and adaptability skills in the global job market.
The signing ceremony was attended by faculty leaders, study program managers, and representatives of PT Wiyata Global Indonesia and Sekiya Resort Japan. On that occasion, both parties expressed their shared commitment to building sustainable collaboration in human resource development, student competency enhancement, and the strengthening of international networks.
Through this collaboration, FPBS UPI continues to demonstrate its commitment to providing learning programs that are relevant to global industry needs and to strengthening graduate competencies so they are able to compete and contribute at the international level. (Teja Mustika)
