Assessors and members of the academic community during the accreditation site assessment of the French Language Education Study Program of FPBS UPI

Bandung, 13 June 2026 - The undergraduate French Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Language and Literature Education (FPBS), Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), underwent an Accreditation Site Assessment conducted by the Independent Accreditation Agency for Education (LAMDIK) on 12-13 June 2026. This activity formed part of the external evaluation process to ensure the quality of educational delivery and the sustainability of the study program’s development.

The site assessment began with the reception of the assessor team at the Partere Building of UPI, followed by the official opening attended by the leadership of the university, faculty, and study program. Throughout the two-day implementation, the assessor team carried out verification and clarification of various aspects of educational delivery, including study program governance, implementation of the tridharma of higher education, human resources, facilities and infrastructure, as well as study program outputs and achievements.

In addition to reviewing documents, the assessor team also conducted interviews with various stakeholders, including lecturers, educational staff, students, alumni, and graduate employers. The activity aimed to obtain a comprehensive overview of the quality of academic services, curriculum relevance, and the contribution of graduates of the French Language Education Study Program in the workplace and society.

On the second day, the assessors observed learning activities through microteaching sessions and reviewed the facilities and infrastructure supporting the academic process. The entire assessment series concluded with the delivery of feedback and recommendations from the assessor team as material for future evaluation and development of the study program.

The Dean of FPBS UPI expressed appreciation to all members of the academic community, alumni, and partners who supported the implementation of the site assessment. According to him, accreditation is not merely an assessment process, but also a momentum to strengthen the culture of quality and continuously improve the quality of educational services.

Through this site assessment, the French Language Education Study Program of FPBS UPI reaffirmed its commitment to continue producing competent and professional graduates who are able to contribute to the development of French language and culture education at both the national and international levels.
