Bandung, WPs., 23 February 2026 - The Student Executive Board (BEM) of Hima Pensatrada, Sundanese Language Education Study Program (PBS), Faculty of Language and Literature Education (FPBS), Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), officially inaugurated the new leadership of the Student Representative Council (DPM) and the Student Executive Board (BEM) for the 2026 term. The inauguration ceremony was held at the Auditorium of Building B and was attended by the Head of the PBS Study Program, Dr. Haris Santosa Nugraha, S.Pd., M.Pd., along with several lecturers who witnessed the event.
“Congratulations to the new board to be inaugurated. May this responsibility be carried out properly and correctly in accordance with the rules,” said the Head of the PBS Study Program, Dr. Haris Santosa, in his remarks at the Hima Pensatrada inauguration. The organization is led by Wahyunanto Muhammad Kahfi as Chair of DPM and Zidan Jamaludin as Chair of BEM for the 2026-2027 term. He expressed his congratulations while also reminding the new board to carry out their mandate responsibly and adhere to organizational regulations.
In line with Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia’s vision of Leading and Outstanding, the inauguration marks an initial step in building a high-performing and competitive student organization. The activity also reflects support for SDG 9 on Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, with the hope that the new board will deliver innovative work programs.
The inauguration proceeded solemnly with the recitation of the oath of office by DPM and BEM officials as a commitment to serve for one term. DPM Chair Wahyunanto Muhammad Kahfi and BEM Chair Zidan Jamaludin also expressed appreciation to the class of 2025 students who participated as members of the organization and hoped that the new board would work in a solid and harmonious manner. “Thank you to the class of 2025 who registered as Hima board members.
