Bandung, 7 August 2026 — The Faculty of Language and Literature Education (FPBS), Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), conducted a LAMDIK Accreditation Site Assessment for the Doctoral Program (S3) in English Language Education on 6-7 August 2026. This activity formed part of the external quality assurance process carried out by the Independent Accreditation Agency for Education (LAMDIK) as a comprehensive evaluation of the quality of doctoral education delivery.
The assessment began with the reception of the assessor team at the UPI Rectorate, followed by a review of campus facilities and the official opening at the FPBS UPI Auditorium, attended by university leaders, faculty leaders, study program managers, and the accreditation task force.
During the two-day implementation, the assessors verified accreditation documents and conducted a series of evaluation sessions with various stakeholders. The agenda included discussions with the Study Program Management Unit (UPPS), the study program, permanent lecturers of the study program (DTPS), educational staff, students, alumni, and graduate employers in order to obtain a comprehensive picture of governance, learning outcomes, and graduate quality.
On the second day, the activities continued with learning observation through microteaching, inspection of supporting facilities and infrastructure, a wrap-up of findings, and the delivery of feedback and recommendations from the assessor team before the signing of the assessment report.
The implementation of this assessment reflects FPBS UPI’s commitment to building a sustainable culture of quality through the strengthening of academic governance, the improvement of the quality of the tridharma of higher education, and the development of educational services at the doctoral level. The active participation of lecturers, educational staff, students, alumni, and partner graduate employers reflects the collaboration of the entire academic community in supporting the quality improvement of the Doctoral Program in English Language Education.
Through this LAMDIK Site Assessment, the Doctoral Program in English Language Education at FPBS UPI is expected to obtain the best accreditation result as recognition of its commitment to producing doctoral graduates who are excellent, innovative, and competitive at both the national and international levels.
