Bandung, September 23, 2026 — The Faculty of Language and Literature Education (FPBS), Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), held a Seno Gumira Ajidarma book discussion on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, in Auditorium B on the fourth floor of FPBS UPI. The event provided a space for appreciation and discussion of the literary works and ideas of Seno Gumira Ajidarma, one of Indonesia’s leading writers.

Two works by Seno Gumira Ajidarma, Senja dan Cinta yang Berdarah and Tempat Terindah untuk Mati, served as the main subjects of discussion. Both books present the richness of ideas, narratives, and perspectives that characterize Seno Gumira Ajidarma’s writing.

The discussion explored various aspects of the works, including literature, life, humanity, and the author’s approach to presenting reality through language and storytelling. The event also gave participants an opportunity to understand the works more deeply through the author’s own perspective.

Prof. Dr. Yulianeta, M.Pd., moderated the event and guided the discussion in an interactive and reflective manner. Having a moderator from the FPBS UPI academic community further strengthened the connection among literary works, academic study, and readers’ experiences.

The Seno Gumira Ajidarma book discussion reflected FPBS UPI’s commitment to providing a space for dialogue and appreciation of Indonesian literature. Through events such as this, students, academics, and the wider public are expected to develop a closer connection with literary works and gain new perspectives on understanding life through literature.

The event took place in a warm academic atmosphere and was met with great enthusiasm. The discussion not only offered an opportunity to learn more about the two works but also brought together the author, academics, and readers in celebrating the diversity of ideas and the richness of Indonesian literature.
