Bandung, 8 August 2026 - BEM KEMABA FPBS UPI held the RUMAH: Muslimah Space event. The activity was conducted online through G-meet. The event was attended by 22 participants consisting of the committee, participants, and the speaker.

RUMAH: Muslimah Space is one of the work programs of Qismu Dirasah Islamiyyah. Carrying the theme “Safeguarding Iffah, the Fortress of Muslim Women’s Dignity in the Modern Era,” the event aimed to provide Muslim women with an understanding of the meaning and importance of iffah as a form of safeguarding personal honor and dignity. Through this session, participants were expected to be able to maintain proper conduct, social boundaries, and self-restraint in accordance with Islamic values, while remaining steadfast in preserving iffah amid the various challenges of modern life.

The event was opened by the MC, followed by the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, and then continued with the Muslimah Talk session. The Muslimah Talk was presented by Teh Az-Zahwa Tri Novita. In this session, the speaker explained the meaning of iffah as a form of self-protection and honor for a Muslim woman, as well as how to apply it in various aspects of life in the modern era. The speaker also discussed the importance of setting boundaries in social interactions, maintaining conduct and personal dignity, and remaining firm in upholding Islamic values amid the many changes and demands of the times.

After the presentation, the event continued with a question-and-answer session that gave participants the opportunity to ask questions about the application of iffah in everyday life. This session became a space for participants to deepen their understanding of how a Muslim woman can remain active, socialize, and grow without setting aside the values that safeguard her dignity.

The series of activities concluded with a collective prayer and documentation of the event as evidence of the successful implementation of Muslimah Space. It is hoped that through this activity, participants will better understand the importance of iffah as part of a Muslim woman’s dignity, be able to protect their honor and personal boundaries in various situations, and become increasingly steadfast in living according to Islamic values in modern life.
