Bandung, September 15, 2025 – The Arabic Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Language and Literature Education (FPBS), Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), officially established a partnership with SMP Miftahul Iman. The collaboration was marked by the signing of an Implementation Agreement and a Cooperation Agreement on Monday, September 15, 2025.
The agreements were signed separately by Drs. Ahmad Soleh, Principal of SMP Miftahul Iman, and Wawan Gunawan, M.Ed., Ph.D., Dean of FPBS UPI. The signing was witnessed by students of the Arabic Language Education Study Program, FPBS UPI.
This collaboration initiated the Teacher Professional Experience Enhancement Program (P3K), which will actively involve lecturers and students from the Arabic Language Education Study Program. The program is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in various aspects, including teaching activities, school administrative management, and the development of professional competencies in education.
The program is scheduled to run for one semester, or four months, during the 2025/2026 Academic Year.
This partnership not only aims to enrich students’ learning experiences but also represents a tangible implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, encompassing education, research, and community service. Furthermore, both parties hope that this synergy between higher education institutions and schools will make a significant contribution to advancing SDG 4: Quality Education.
