Bandung – Tuesday, December 2, 2025, the Arabic Language Education Study Program of the Faculty of Language and Literature Education (FPBS), Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), held an activity titled “Application of the Basic-Level Arabic Language Education Study Program with Pusdikpengmilum Kodiklatad.” The event involved members of the Indonesian Army from Pusdikpengmilum Kodiklatad, Arabic Language Education lecturers, and students of the Arabic Language Education Study Program, FPBS UPI.
The activity, which focused on improving maharah or Arabic language skills, began with an opening session and introductions between TNI members and the FPBS UPI academic community. The main agenda, an ikhfa test, was conducted in the FPBS UPI Computer Laboratory to measure the participants’ fundamental Arabic language abilities.
After the test, the activity continued with an informal communication session using Arabic with students. Participants walked around the UPI campus area to enhance interactions and engage in direct dialogue practice in an enjoyable atmosphere.
This event was held as an effort to strengthen the Arabic language competence of TNI members to improve communication skills in both duty and learning contexts. At the closing of the activity, all participants took a group photo as documentation and a symbolic conclusion of the program.
This collaborative implementation is expected to strengthen institutional relations between Pusdikpengmilum Kodiklatad and UPI, as well as serve as a concrete step in supporting the improvement of Arabic language education quality within the military environment.
