Bandung, September 17, 2026 – The Arabic Language Education Study Program of the Faculty of Language and Literature Education (FPBS), Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), officially established cooperation with Madrasah Aliyah Al-Inayah for the implementation of the Professional Education Experience Strengthening Program (P3K). The program provides prospective teachers with opportunities to apply their educational knowledge directly in a madrasah setting.
The commitment of both parties was formalized through the signing of an Implementation Agreement (IA). The cooperation document was signed by the Dean of FPBS UPI, Prof. Wawan Gunawan, M.Ed., Ph.D., and the Head of the Madrasah, Drs. Ridwan Syihabuddin M., M.Pd. The signing reaffirmed the commitment of both institutions to work together in preparing excellent educators who can make a meaningful impact.
During the program, four Arabic Language Education students will be supervised by Dr. Yusuf Ali Tantowi, Lc., M.A., as the Field Supervising Lecturer. The P3K program is designed as more than a conventional field placement; it serves as an integrated platform for implementing the Tridharma of Higher Education.
The implementation of the Tridharma encompasses education, research, and community service. In education, students develop their teaching skills directly in the classroom. The research component is carried out through the analysis and resolution of various learning challenges at the school. Meanwhile, community service is realized through students’ active contributions to improving the quality of education at the partner school.
The activity began with a symbolic student handover ceremony, followed by a discussion session with mentor teachers. The discussion provided a forum to align perspectives, learning plans, and mentoring strategies throughout the program. This collaboration is expected to create a lasting positive impact on both students’ competency development and the advancement of the partner school.
