Bandung, November 24, 2025 - The Faculty of Language and Literature Education (FPBS), Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), organized a workshop themed “Stop Bullying! A Safe Campus Without Harassment” on Monday, November 24, 2025, held at the Doctoral Promotion Room of FPBS, Building C, 4th Floor. The activity was initiated by the English Language Education Study Program of FPBS UPI as an effort to raise student awareness of bullying issues in higher education environments.

The workshop featured Hani Yulindrasari, S.Psi., M.GendSt., Ph.D., a psychology practitioner, lecturer, and Chair of SPPIK, as the main speaker. The event was opened and moderated by the Secretary of the English Language Education Study Program, Dr. Rojab Siti Rodliyah, M.Ed., who emphasized the importance of creating a safe, inclusive academic space free from all forms of violence.

In her presentation, Hani Yulindrasari explained that bullying at universities is a serious issue that can take various forms, including verbal, social, psychological, physical, and digital. Such behavior is often triggered by seniority culture, revenge, or jealousy, and has significant impacts on students’ mental health, academic motivation and concentration, as well as social problems such as isolation and low self-confidence. She also highlighted the crucial role of higher education institutions in providing anti-bullying policies and psychological support for victims.

The event, which took place from 1:00 to 3:00 PM WIB, was attended by 21 offline participants consisting of undergraduate (S1) and master’s (S2) students from the English Language Education Study Program. Participants showed strong enthusiasm during the discussion and question-and-answer sessions, actively sharing perspectives, experiences, and questions related to bullying prevention efforts on campus.

Through this activity, FPBS UPI reaffirmed its commitment to building a safe, healthy, and equitable academic environment in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3 on mental health and well-being and SDG 4 on inclusive and quality education. This activity also reflects support for UPI’s vision as a pioneering and leading university in developing character-based, humanistic, and socially sustainable education.
