The Korean Language Education Study Program (PBK), Faculty of Language and Literature Education (FPBS) Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), once again celebrates a proud achievement. PBK student Ni Putu Ayu Raditya Widnyani (2407799) won First Place in the Story Telling category at the West Java Province Munhwa Matsuri Competition held at Universitas Sinarperbangsa Karawang.
This competition serves as a platform for students from various universities to demonstrate their storytelling abilities in the Korean language while strengthening appreciation for Korean culture at the regional level. The achievement of Ni Putu Ayu Raditya Widnyani not only reflects strong language mastery but also showcases creativity, expressiveness, and effective communication in storytelling.
This success is a testament to the dedication, hard work, and consistent creative spirit demonstrated by PBK FPBS UPI students. It is hoped that this accomplishment will motivate other students to continue exploring their potential, enhancing their language and cultural skills, and confidently participating in competitions at local, regional, and national levels.
This achievement also contributes to the advancement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through competitive activities that promote language proficiency and creativity, this accomplishment aligns with SDG 4 on Quality Education, which emphasizes inclusive, high-quality education oriented toward skill development. Moreover, the involvement of universities and cultural institutions in organizing the Munhwa Matsuri strengthens cross-institutional collaboration networks, supporting SDG 17 on Partnerships for the Goals. Thus, the achievement not only impacts the individual level but also reinforces the role of educational institutions in promoting sustainable development through education and partnerships.
