Jakarta, 21 January 2026 - The Korean Language Education Study Program received education funding support of IDR 25 million as part of a Dinner Reception and Symbolic Donation Handover organized by the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Indonesia (KOCHAM Indonesia). The event was attended by the Head of the Korean Language Education Study Program, Risa Triarisanti, S.Pd., M.Pd.

The event was part of the Inauguration and KOCHAM Day 2026 series, marking the start of KOCHAM Indonesia’s seventh leadership term in 2026. On this occasion, Lee Kang Hyun was inaugurated again as the Chair of KOCHAM Indonesia. To commemorate the moment, KOCHAM Indonesia provided donations to four Korean language study programs at various universities in Indonesia, including the Korean Language Education Study Program.

The IDR 25 million education funding support was handed over symbolically and will subsequently be distributed to students of the Korean Language Education Study Program. The fund is expected to help students meet academic needs and support the continuity and smooth progress of their studies.

Through this activity, a positive synergy was fostered between higher education institutions and the international industry sector, particularly South Korea, in supporting the development and strengthening of Korean language education in Indonesia.
