Bandung, September 16, 2026 — The Arabic Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Language and Literature Education (FPBS), Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), has established collaboration with SMP Miftahul Iman in the implementation of the Professional Education Experience Strengthening Program (P3K). The collaboration was formalized through the signing of an Implementation Agreement (IA) between Drs. Ahmad Soleh, Principal of SMP Miftahul Iman, and Prof. Wawan Gunawan, M.Ed., Ph.D., Dean of FPBS UPI.
This collaboration is part of an effort to provide Arabic Language Education students with direct professional experience in a school environment. Through the P3K Program, students are involved in various educational activities, particularly the learning process, enabling them to develop the knowledge, skills, and experience needed as future educators.
In its implementation, students not only gain experience in classroom learning activities but also have the opportunity to adapt to the school environment and participate in various educational activities according to the school’s needs. This involvement is expected to help students gain a more concrete understanding of the roles and responsibilities of educators in a school setting.
The collaboration between UPI and SMP Miftahul Iman through the P3K Program also supports the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 on quality education. Strengthening students’ professional experience as future educators and involving them in the educational process represent a concrete contribution to improving the quality of learning and education.
Through this collaboration, UPI and SMP Miftahul Iman are expected to continue strengthening cooperation in the field of education. The P3K Program serves as a shared learning space that benefits students by providing professional experience while also supporting the school in delivering quality education.
