1975 - Program Established
The French Language Education Study Program was established de facto in February 1975 as the Department of French Language Education at the Faculty of Teacher Training in Arts and Letters, IKIP Bandung.
1975 - Native Speaker Initiative
The founding was initiated by a French native speaker, Monsieur Dominique DANARD, and warmly welcomed by the faculty and institute leadership.
Since 1975 - Quality Graduates
The program has produced many distinguished graduates working as teachers and lecturers across Indonesia.
2016 - BAN-PT Accreditation A
Received an A accreditation from BAN-PT through Decree No. 1546/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/VIII/2016.
2010-2017 - ISO Certification
ISO 9001:2008 certified by WQA (2010–2013) and URS (2013–2017); ISO 9001:2015 certified by URS since 2017.
International Accreditation ASIC
Awarded ASIC international accreditation with a Premier University predicate, certificate number AS29672/0617.

- Deliver and develop French language education as a foreign language and for specific purposes.
- Provide enrichment in French linguistics and pedagogy.
- Conduct research, integrate findings into teaching, and disseminate the results.
