Bandung, September 16, 2026 – The Arabic Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Language and Literature Education (FPBS), Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), has begun establishing collaboration with MTs Ar-Rohmah Bandung through the implementation of the Professional Education Experience Strengthening Program (P3K). The activity was marked by a student reception ceremony and the signing of an Implementation Agreement as a form of commitment to cooperation between the two institutions.

The signing ceremony of the Implementation Agreement was carried out by the Principal of MTs Ar-Rohmah, Mohamad Nurjaman, M.Pd., and the Dean of FPBS UPI, Prof. Wawan Gunawan, M.Ed., Ph.D. The signing was conducted separately and was directly observed by students of the Arabic Language Education Study Program of FPBS UPI.

In this program, seven Arabic Language Education students of FPBS UPI, accompanied by Dr. Mia Nurmala, M.Pd. as the field supervising lecturer, participated in P3K activities at MTs Ar-Rohmah. The program serves as a platform for students to gain direct professional experience through involvement in a madrasah educational environment.

The series of activities began with the handover of students from the university to the school, followed by the official reception of students by MTs Ar-Rohmah. After the ceremony, students joined an orientation and discussion with mentor teachers as part of their introduction to the madrasah environment and to build a shared understanding of the program implementation.

This collaboration is expected to become part of the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education, which includes education, research, and community service. In addition, the collaboration between the university and the madrasah is expected to strengthen institutional relations while providing relevant field experience for students as they prepare themselves to become future educators.

Through the implementation of P3K at MTs Ar-Rohmah Bandung, both institutions are expected to build sustainable collaboration in supporting the improvement of education quality and the development of students’ professional competencies.
