The Faculty of Language and Literature Education (FPBS) at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) welcomed a visit from the Chairman of the Board of Trustees (Majelis Wali Amanat/MWA), along with the MWA Secretary and the Chair of the University Audit Committee, on Wednesday, 26 March 2025. The visit was warmly received by the faculty leadership, including the Dean of FPBS and the Vice Deans.
During the visit, the MWA delegation conducted a site tour of several key FPBS facilities, including:
- Microteaching Lab – A space for prospective educators to practice and enhance their pedagogical skills.
- Interpreting Lab – Used for student training in translation and interpretation.
- Language Lab – Supports language and linguistic studies as well as research in foreign languages.
- Doctoral Examination Room – A venue for hosting academic defenses for doctoral candidates.
- Classrooms and Meeting Rooms – Facilitate academic instruction and scholarly discussions.
- Auditorium – Used for seminars, conferences, and other academic gatherings.
- Podcast Room – Equipped for producing audio and multimedia-based educational content.
The Chairman of MWA expressed appreciation for the facilities available at FPBS and emphasized the importance of continuous infrastructure development to support innovative learning. He also encouraged the optimal use of existing resources to enhance the quality of education and research within the faculty.
This visit marked a significant moment for FPBS in its efforts to create a more conducive and internationally aligned academic environment.
