Another proud achievement has been recorded by a student of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, Faculty of Language and Literature Education (FPBS), Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI). Nayla Yuliandri won Second Place in the international monologue competition at the Widyatama International Competition (WINACTION) 2026, which carried the theme “Celebrating 25 Years of Excellence: International Competition for Creative and Sustainable Solutions”.
The competition, organized by Universitas Widyatama, served as a platform for participants from various educational institutions to demonstrate creativity, expressive ability, and innovative ideas through competition categories oriented toward creative and sustainable solutions. In the monologue category, Nayla Yuliandri performed a work entitled “Manekin Pabrik”, a monologue script written by Nayla herself that reflects on humanity amid the dynamics of modern life. Through strong character portrayal, solid stage presence, and a profound delivery of the message, Nayla’s performance succeeded in capturing the attention of the judges and earning her second place at the international level.

The competition was conducted in two stages. The first stage consisted of an initial selection through the submission of monologue performance videos to be assessed by the panel of judges. Participants who passed the selection were then given the opportunity to perform in the final round to demonstrate their best abilities before the judges and fellow participants. Nayla’s achievement shows that students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program at FPBS UPI excel not only academically, but also possess creative and artistic abilities that are competitive at the international level. This success stands as clear evidence of the quality of learning that integrates literary appreciation, creativity, and performance skills within the educational process.
In addition to bringing honor to the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, this achievement also strengthens the reputation of FPBS UPI as an institution that supports the development of student potential through various national and international competitions. The achievement is in line with Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia’s commitment to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) through the development of student competence, creativity, and competitiveness, as well as SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through active participation in international networks and competitions.
FPBS UPI extends its congratulations to Nayla Yuliandri on this achievement. It is hoped that this accomplishment will inspire other students to continue creating, achieving, and bringing honor to the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program and Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia on a broader stage.
