Bandung, October 13, 2025 - The Faculty of Language and Literature Education (FPBS), Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), held a Career Guidance Session for Prospective Graduates of the 2025 Third Graduation Batch as part of its commitment to preparing graduates who are excellent, adaptive, and of strong character.
The event took place at the FPBS Auditorium, 4th Floor, attended by 61 onsite participants and approximately 203 online participants.
The session was opened by Yanty Wirza, M.Pd., M.A., Ph.D., Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Partnerships, and continued with remarks from Rismanto, S.Pd., M.I.Kom., Chair of the FPBS Alumni Association (IKA FPBS UPI).
In his address, Dr. Handi Gunawan, M.Pd. emphasized the importance of fostering a lifelong learning spirit and readiness to face global changes.
The session also featured speakers from Bank Mandiri, Ikramtio Nursultan and Astu Ambia Putri, who shared insights on personal financial management, professional ethics, and strategies to build credibility in the workplace.
This career guidance program is closely aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
- SDG 4 (Quality Education) – through strengthening character and professional competence.
- SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) – by enhancing job readiness and financial literacy among students.
- SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) – through collaboration between academia, alumni, and industry partners.
Through this activity, FPBS UPI reaffirms its commitment as an educational institution that actively supports the realization of the SDGs by promoting quality education, character development, and strategic cross-sector partnerships.
