Bandung, April 11, 2026 - Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, through the Faculty of Language and Literature Education (FPBS), held the Isola Fun Run 2026 on Saturday, April 11, 2026. The event was lively and attended by hundreds of participants from various groups, including students, alumni, and the general public.
Since early morning, the UPI campus area, particularly around the Isola Building, had been filled with participants enthusiastically taking part in the series of activities. The event began with participant preparation and registration, followed by the official opening by the Rector of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Didi Sukyadi, M.A., who also delivered remarks to all participants.
In his remarks, the UPI Rector conveyed the importance of maintaining health through sports activities and strengthening togetherness within the campus environment. The event then continued with a joint warm-up session to ensure the participants’ physical readiness.
At exactly 06.00 WIB, the fun run officially began with the flag off, followed by the welcoming of the first runner and other participants who completed the route.
In addition to the running activity, the event was enlivened by various entertainment and engaging activities, such as DJ performances, a zumba session with DJ R x ZDYH, and door prize distributions in several sessions. Various entertainment performances also added to the festive atmosphere, including performances by Manik Laluna, DJ Marillionized, Leona Autumn, Iwa K, D’Young Band, Fuel Fractions, Yogi Firmansyah, Dina Laras Arliani, ESA (English Students’ Association), and HIMABARA (Korean Language Education Student Association) FPBS UPI. The presence of these performers successfully entertained participants and visitors, further enlivening the atmosphere until the end of the event.
The Isola Fun Run 2026 was not only a sports event, but also a means to strengthen togetherness among the academic community and UPI alumni. In addition, the event was part of an effort to encourage a healthy lifestyle within the campus environment and the wider community.
Through this event, FPBS UPI demonstrated its commitment to presenting positive activities that focus not only on academics, but also on strengthening togetherness and the health of the academic community.
