A student of FPBS UPI's Korean Language Education Study Program selected for the 2026 K-Teacher Program in Korea

Bandung, 9 July 2026 - The Korean Language Education Study Program of the Faculty of Language and Literature Education (FPBS), Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), has once again recorded an international achievement. One of its students, Nayla Alya Putri Septianita (Student ID 2203290), was selected as a participant in the 2026 K-Teacher Program Invitational Training in Korea for Outstanding Completers, organized by the National Institute of Korean Language (NIKL), Republic of Korea.

The program is part of the 2026 Management and Development of the K-Teacher Program for Enhancing the Competency of Overseas Korean Language Teachers project initiated by the National Institute of Korean Language (NIKL) under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Korea. The program is administered by the K-Teacher Program Project Group through the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation of Sahmyook University, Seoul.

Nayla was selected to represent Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia in the training program, which will take place from 23 to 29 July 2026 at Sahmyook University, Seoul, Republic of Korea.

Through the program, Nayla will have the opportunity to deepen her understanding of Korean language education through a series of public lectures and workshops led by experts in Korean language teaching. In addition, participants will observe Korean language learning practices in Korea and take part in educational exchange activities with participants from various countries. The program also offers direct cultural experiences through activities introducing Korean culture, while providing opportunities for participants to build international networks with educators and prospective Korean language teachers from around the world.

Nayla’s selection for this prestigious program is a proud achievement for the Korean Language Education Study Program at FPBS UPI. This opportunity not only reflects recognition of her academic competence, but also serves as a means to strengthen her professional skills, broaden her international perspective, and reinforce academic cooperation between Indonesia and the Republic of Korea in the field of Korean language education.

The Korean Language Education Study Program at FPBS UPI extends its congratulations to Nayla on this achievement.
