This prestigious program is the result of cooperation between Sookmyung Women’s University (SMU) and the Korea Foundation (KF), offering students from various countries the opportunity to take part in academic activities and cultural exchange in South Korea.

The program will take place from 31 July to 14 August 2026 at Sookmyung Women’s University, Seoul, South Korea. For approximately two weeks, participants will take part in a course themed Hallyu and Global Cultural Exchange, which carries two academic credits. In addition, participants will join various cultural activities such as orientation, a welcome party, a visit to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), K-pop dance training, visits to Korean companies, and a range of activities introducing Korean culture and daily life directly.

All major costs during the program will be covered by the Korea Foundation and Sookmyung Women’s University, including registration fees, program fees, accommodation, insurance, and tuition. The Korea Foundation also provides travel assistance in a certain amount, while participants only need to prepare for their personal needs during their stay in South Korea.
