Jakarta, 6 June 2026 - Students of the Korean Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Language and Literature Education (FPBS), Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia once again recorded a proud national achievement. In the 제10회 통일 골든벨 인도네시아 (2026 Tongil Golden Bell) competition organized by 민주평화통일자문회의 (The Peaceful Unification Advisory Council), students of the Korean Language Education Study Program of FPBS UPI won several prestigious awards. The students were directly accompanied throughout the competition in Jakarta by Ms. Ashanti Widyana, M.A., student affairs advisor of the Korean Language Education Study Program of FPBS UPI. The activity was also accompanied by study program staff member Mr. Asep Ahmad Suja’i, M.Pd.
Held in Jakarta on 6 June 2026, the competition served as a platform to assess participants’ knowledge and understanding of peace and the reunification of the Korean Peninsula, with participants representing various institutions across Indonesia.
The highest achievement was earned by Yuliana Wulandari (2210165), who won 1st Place (대상) at the national level. For this accomplishment, Yuliana received AirPods, cash worth Rp3,000,000, a gift package, and the opportunity to participate in training on peace on the Korean Peninsula directly in South Korea.
In addition, Fajar Pratama (2204543) also won 3rd Place (우수상) at the national level. Fajar received cash worth Rp1,000,000 and a gift package in appreciation of this achievement in the competition.
Another proud achievement was earned by Asti Ayu Lestari (2209802), who won 4th Place (장려상) at the national level. For this accomplishment, Asti received cash worth Rp500,000 along with a gift package.
The success of these three students demonstrates the dedication, enthusiasm for learning, and capability of students of the Korean Language Education Study Program of FPBS UPI in the fields of language, culture, and issues related to peace on the Korean Peninsula at the national level. This achievement is expected to inspire other students to continue developing their potential, broadening their global perspectives, and competing confidently in various national and international events.
