Bandung, August 5, 2025 – The Korean Language Education Study Program, FPBS UPI, welcomed a visit from the Korea National University of Education (KNUE). This event marked an important momentum in establishing initial communication for exploring potential collaboration in the field of Korean language education.
During the meeting held at FPBS UPI, representatives of KNUE and the Korean Language Education Study Program discussed various opportunities for strategic collaboration. These included faculty and student exchange programs, joint research, and other academic initiatives.
The Head of the Korean Language Education Study Program at FPBS UPI stated that this visit was a positive step towards expanding international networks and improving the quality of education in the field of Korean language. KNUE also reaffirmed its commitment to building mutually beneficial cooperation, while strengthening academic relations between Indonesia and South Korea.
In addition to enhancing international cooperation, this visit also aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, through improving access and quality in foreign language learning, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, through cross-national collaboration. This synergy is expected to create tangible impacts on developing competent and globally competitive human resources.
Through this visit, both parties hope to realize collaborative programs that provide real benefits for students, faculty, and academic development - ensuring that this cooperation is not only ceremonial but also productive in the long term.
