Bekasi, August 8, 2025 – Another proud achievement was attained by a student of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI). Raisa Adisti (2202242), a student of the Korean Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Language and Literature Education (FPBS) UPI, successfully won 2nd Runner-Up Mpok Bekasi City in the prestigious Abang Mpok Bekasi City 2025 competition.

The grand final, held at Hall C – BSI Convention Center, BSI Square Kaliabang, marked the culmination of a rigorous selection process undertaken by the finalists. With the theme “Act and Inspire,” the event showcased the talents, knowledge, and cultural insights of the participants who served as ambassadors of tourism and culture for Bekasi City.

The Korean Language Education Study Program of FPBS UPI expressed its highest appreciation for this achievement, hoping that Raisa’s accomplishment will inspire other students to continue excelling both academically and non-academically.

This participation and victory are also in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, through the role of young generations in preserving and promoting local culture.
