The Korean Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Language and Literature Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (FPBS UPI), once again recorded an achievement through the success of one of its students in the 2026 West Java Student Teaching Movement Program (GEMA JABAR). The selected student is Zahara Khairun Nisa (Student ID 2400013).

GEMA JABAR is a collaborative program between Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia and the West Java Provincial Government through the Directorate of Education of UPI and the West Java Provincial Education Office. The program is intended to provide students with the opportunity to contribute directly to improving the quality of education in West Java through teaching activities in partner schools.

During the program, Zahara will carry out service in her assigned school under the guidance of Ms. Jayanti Megasari, M.A., as supervising lecturer. Through this mentoring process, the student is expected to develop pedagogical, professional, social, and personal competencies as a future educator, while also gaining practical teaching experience that creates real impact in the field of education.

As a GEMA JABAR participant, Zahara will also receive various benefits, including direct teaching experience in schools, a stipend, a certificate from the Governor of West Java and the Directorate of Education of UPI, and activity conversion into course credits in accordance with applicable regulations. The program serves as a platform for students to sharpen communication, leadership, problem-solving, and community service skills.

This achievement stands as evidence of the commitment of students of the Korean Language Education Study Program of FPBS UPI to supporting improvements in educational quality while applying the knowledge they have gained during their studies. It is hoped that the experience gained through GEMA JABAR will become valuable preparation for becoming a professional, innovative, and competitive educator.

The entire academic community of the Korean Language Education Study Program of FPBS UPI extends congratulations and best wishes to Zahara Khairun Nisa on her achievement as a selected student in the 2026 GEMA JABAR Program. Congratulations are also addressed to Ms. Jayanti Megasari, M.A., who will accompany the implementation of the program as supervising lecturer. May this activity run smoothly, provide meaningful experience, and bring benefits to partner schools, the community, and the world of education in West Java.
